The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) and the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) announced that the city has been selected as the “Best MICE City” by the Global Traveler’s GT Tested Reader Survey for the ninth consecutive year, an unparalleled record that proves its global influence and stature as a leading MICE city.

This year, the city won a number of top titles at multiple global tourism MICE awards, securing the most prominent position as a MICE city. In June, it was named the “Best Leisure City in Asia,” and in August, it won the “Favorite Worldwide City” award for the second consecutive year. In addition, it was selected as the “Most Popular Destination of the Year” in October, making it a destination for tourism and MICE.

The city said it is an honor to be selected again as the world’s best MICE city in the post-pandemic tourism promotion era, and it will continue to invest and support the MICE industry.
