Smart mobility service in Sangam and free Ttareungi pass giveaway
The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is holding a free Ttareungi pass giveaway event to passengers of the autonomous mobility on demand (AMoD) service in Sangam starting on Oct. 21.
Currently, there are seven autonomous vehicles being operated across four routes across Sangam, and passengers can receive a free one-hour Ttareungi pass by using the AMoD service.
To participate in the giveaway event, you must download the AMoD app “TAP!” developed by the SMG and 42dot via Google Play (for Android users) or the App Store (for iOS users).
After signing up and registering a payment method (debit or credit card) on the app, users can book a ride in real-time. After the ride, users will automatically receive a free one-hour Ttareungi pass via text message.
The AMoD service is free for first-time users of TAP! After that, users are charged KRW 1,200 per person for autonomous buses and KRW 2,000 per ride for passenger vehicles regardless of the number of passengers. The service only charges the initial base fare regardless of the travel distance.
Seoul expects this AMoD service and giveaway event to serve as a great opportunity to welcome visitors to Noeul Park and Haneul Park in Sangam to not only enjoy an autumn outing, but also experience the future of transportation.
