Seoul’s office of waterworks recently called on the Ministry of Environment to consider revision of the legislation that disallows sales of its tap water, Arisu. Seoul’s Arisu has been well received by many international organizations including the WHO, and the city believes the export potential is very bright and promising. If the restriction is lifted, China will likely be the first target market as Korean bottled water already has good brand awareness there.
