The city unveiled the first lineup for the opening ceremony and presale tickets are now available for purchase on WeMakePrice. The festival is expected to attract about 40,000 fans of Korean culture who are eager to watch spectacular performances by a lineup of K-pop artists, including NATURE, THE BOYZ, BE’O, STAYC, iKON, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, YoungJiLee, OH MY GIRL, P1Harmony, and Kep1er. The festival will be emceed by the main dancer of THE BOYZ and Shin Ye-eun, who recently grew in fame for her acting in the Netflix drama The Glory.

Presale ticket sales for the opening ceremony of Seoul Festa 2022 held last August recorded a waiting list of up to 52,000 buyers, and sold out in just five minutes. It is expected that this year’s Seoul Festa 2023 will be similar to last year as well. Those who are interested can get detailed information via the official Instagram (@seoulfesta_official) event, and a second round of presales tickets will open on Fri, Apr. 21.

Seoul Festa 2023 will be held throughout Seoul—notably at Gwanghwamun Square, along the Hangang River, and in Myeong-dong for eight days from Sun, Apr. 30 to Sun, May 7—with entertaining programs for both domestic and international tourists to “feel the real Seoul.”

As global interest in Korean culture rises, it is expected that Seoul Festa 2023 will serve as an opportunity for the city to gain a strong foothold in preparing to take a new leap forward for its tourism policies and programs.
