Try Everything 2022, an online meetup for startups to be held in September

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) will host the global startup festival Try Everything at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) for three days from Wed, Sep. 21 to Fri, Sep. 23 for global players in the startup ecosystem, including prospective startups, middle-market companies, investors and accelerators, to come together and meet.
 

This year’s event, which is being held in person after three years of being held as a hybrid event, will welcome not just companies and investors, but also general visitors to participate.

Despite the pandemic, Try Everything was held as a hybrid event in 2020 and 2021, seeing a turnout of 1,434 prospective startups, 549 global startup experts, and 150 investment firms from 21 countries including the US, UK, Canada, and France where participants shared strategies for investment relations (IR) and business know-how.

Try Everything 2022 will offer a total of 70 different startup programs, including open innovation for middle-sized companies and startups, IR pitching for investors and startups, and startup trend lectures by renowned domestic and international speakers.

Moreover, the event will feature a customized meetup system to expand contact points between investors (i.e. venture capitalists) and startups to support startups’ investment relations.

Startups in the ICT and biomedical fields wanting to meet with investors can apply online via the official website (en.tryeverything.or.kr).

Registered startups will be provided with opportunities to establish business relations and form networks with investors and VC accelerators according to business and participation stage as well as receive professional consultations from the Seoul Business Support Center (SBSC), excellent participating companies will be able to participate in an in-depth meetup with investors during the event.
