2021 Seoul Big Data Forum
2021 Seoul Big Data Forum, hosted by Seoul Institute and co-hosted by three government funded institutions (University of Seoul, Seoul Institute of Technology, and Seoul Digital Foundation) together with Seoul Metropolitan Government, will be convened between November 24 and 25, 2021 at Seoul Citizens Hall and on YouTube in parallel.
Seoul Big Data Forum is an annual forum which offers a series of opportunities for speakers and participants to exchange new ideas and insights on the most eminent issues in big data and undertaking smart city projects from all over the world.
This year, under the theme, “Post-pandemic Challenges and Opportunities for Cities of Tomorrow,” the forum will broadly probe into foreseen lives of urban residents and the ever-changing landscapes, all triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and followed technology development. It is witnessed that today’s cities are swiftly transitioning into a phase of “New Normal Era,” and accelerating its digital transformation. As big data lies at the heart of the urban and disaster risk management, applications of big data to all-encompassing industries will therefore be thoroughly studied to craft strategies for today and deliver solutions for tomorrow.
