[International Relations News] Seoul’s transport card system awarded the best prize by WeGO
The World e-Governments Organization of Cities and Local Governments (WeGO) is an international cooperative body for cities and local governments that pursues sustainable city development based on e-Government. At the 3rd general assembly held in Chengdu, China on November 5, the Seoul Metropolitan government was re-elected as the chair city and its transport card system was awarded the best prize in recognition of excellence.
The municipal government has been consistently ranked by surveys, including the UN e-Government Survey, as a global leader in e-Government and continued its effort to share the system with foreign cities.
