The Seoul city and the eastern Chinese province of Shandong jointly held a cooperation forum on environment technology on November 7 during the delegation’s visit to China. Aimed at introducing the two cities’ outstanding environment technologies, the conference provided a platform to share their performance in air quality improvement and to come up with ways to jointly combat air pollution.
 
Particularly, with the active participation of officials of Shandong and five domestic tech firms, it is also expected to help local environmental technology firms make forays into the Chinese market
 
This is part of Seoul's growing efforts to step up regional cooperation to fight air pollution issues like fine dust and yellow dust. It has strived to tackle the challenging issues through active collaboration with regional partners.
