Elevation of Social Distancing to Level 2 for the Seoul Metropolitan Area

Social distancing level will elevate from level 1.5 to 2, effective midnight on Tue, Nov. 24. The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is declaring an “emergency pause period for 10 million citizens” starting from tomorrow until the end of the year and implementing Seoul-style precision disease control and prevention for 10 types of facilities in Seoul.
This aims to lower the risk of infection by analyzing the disease transmission routes in the 10 types of facilities that had the most infection cases and adding appropriate measures for disease control and prevention accordingly.
