PLATFORM CHANGDONG 61

Platform Changdong 61, opened in May 2016, is north-western Seoul’s newest cultural hub with unique architectural features, which has been constructed with brightly painted shipping containers. Platform Changdong 61 has a performance venue, Red Box, as well as retail, gallery, and studio space in addition to facilities for community activities. The Seoul Metropolitan Government hopes that this investment will lead to economic growth and increased employment opportunities in forming a new economic center in the Chang-dong and Sanggye-dong area.
