P Purpose | ■ To construct sustainable cooperative relations in the field of waterworks by sharing information, knowledge and technologies in water supply and sewage treatment ■ To provide an opportunity of benchmarking Seoul's successful waterworks model by operating professional and systematic training programs including theoretical lectures by experts in waterworks and field trips to relevant institutes and places ■ To promote understanding Korea through the time of experiencing and appreciating the Korean culture |
Contents | ■ Lectures - Introduction of Seoul Water Management - Introduction of Future Plans for Integrated Water Resources Management - Drinking Water Quality Management in Seoul - Sewage Treatment System of Seoul - Wrap-up (* Each participant is required to make a presentation within 10 minutes) ■ Field Trips - Arisu Water Treatment Center, Seoul Water Research Institute, Waterworks Museum - Waterworks Equipment Management Center, Sewage Treatment Center, etc. ■ Working Fields Visit - Seoul Han River Project Headquarter ■ Understanding Korean Culture - Experiencing Korean Culture, visiting the Seoul History Museum and viewing cultural performance |
Qualification | ■ A managerial-level public official in charge of the municipal waterworks project management and Waterworks Engineer ■ A official with a good command of Chinese ■ A official with healthy mind and body, who can be admitted into Korea ■ A official recommended by a head of a local government |
Participation Requirement |
■ A participant should send the presentation material for introducing the waterworks status and development plan to the Seoul Waterworks Authority ■ A participant should make the presentation for 10 minutes in the workshop on Training Period |
